Job description Aequor has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or a NICU-trained Physician Assistant (PA) to an expanding team in a growing suburb along Florida’s beautiful Nature Coast. This is a permanent, full-time position in a Level-III NICU setting, offering a rewarding environment with professional support and long-term career potential.

Job Responsibilities

About the Practice:
20-bed Level-III NICU
Average daily census: 12–20
Approximate annual deliveries: 1,600
Supported by on-site Neonatologists, Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, and a range of pediatric sub-specialists
16-hour shifts with the potential for 24-hour shifts as the unit grows
Collaborative and supportive team approach to high-quality neonatal care

Qualifications

Candidate Requirements:
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP):
Board Certified as an NNP (APRN) – FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications cannot be considered
Minimum of a Master’s degree
At least 2 years of current NNP work experience (excluding RN or training time)

Physician Assistant (PA):
Board Certified through NCCPA
Minimum of a Master’s degree
Completion of a Neonatal PA training program highly preferred
At least 2 years of current NICU experience as a PA (excluding training)
