Aequor is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a team of experienced and dedicated clinicians in Southwestern, FL. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Level-III NICU in one of Florida’s most respected pediatric hospitals.

Job Responsibilities

Position Highlights:
70-bed Level-III NICU in a modern, high-acuity facility
Health system includes two facilities with 7,000 annual deliveries
Cape Coral Hospital provides Level-I care and low-risk deliveries
Primary responsibilities include attending coverage at the Level-III NICU and well baby care at the Level-I nursery
Full complement of pediatric subspecialty services, excluding cardiovascular surgery and ECMO
High-risk delivery attendance and in-house call with 24-hour NNP coverage
NNPs work 12-hour shifts, with 24-hour shift options available based on experience
Monthly schedule: 156 hours per month (1,872 hours/year)
Supportive team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs

Qualifications

Candidate Requirements:
Must be Board Certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
(We cannot consider FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications)
Minimum of 2 years of NNP experience required
(We are not currently accepting new graduate or locum candidates)
Willingness to relocate and reside in the local Ft. Myers area
(Block scheduling and commuter arrangements are not supported for this role)
Eligible for Florida APRN licensure
