Aequor is seeking an experienced and compassionate Board-Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a well-established team of clinicians caring for high-risk mothers and critically ill or premature newborns. Job Responsibilities
34-bed Level-III NICU with an average daily census (ADC) of 25
Approximately 3,500 annual deliveries
The only Level-III NICU in the region, equipped to manage the most complex neonatal cases
Multi-specialty team including neonatologists, NNPs, pediatric intensivists, and pediatric hospitalists
Strong support from pediatric subspecialties: cardiology, endocrinology, radiology, neurology, and orthopedics
Transports from surrounding regional hospitals staffed by a neonatal nurse and respiratory therapist
Collaborative, family-centered care model in a friendly, professional environment
Excellent nursing and ancillary support, including a PICC team and a full-time child life specialist
Qualifications
Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) is required
(Please note: FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications are not eligible for this role)
Active and unrestricted Florida APRN license or eligibility
Prior experience in a Level-III NICU setting preferred
Strong clinical skills and commitment to delivering high-quality neonatal care
Working Hours
Mix of 8-hour and 24-hour shifts
