Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with potential to extend
Setting: Hospital-based Level III NICU
Schedule: Flexible options
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 24-hour shifts available
- 36–40 hours per week
Call: No specific call; based on scheduled hours
Census/Volume:
- NICU Census: 12–14 infants daily
- Annual Deliveries: 1,200–1,300
Duties Include:
- Attend C-sections and high-risk deliveries
- Manage chest tube insertions, central lines, intubations
- Interpret antenatal/perinatal history and assess gestational age
- Perform resuscitations and emergency procedures in delivery and neonatal units
- Conduct physical exams and procedures on high-risk infants (e.g., lumbar puncture, umbilical line placement, needle thoracentesis)
