We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to contribute to a dynamic environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, professional growth, and cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced neonatal care within a high-acuity Level IV NICU, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the management and treatment of neonates with complex medical conditions, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and evidence-based practices.
- Cover a network of hospitals within the system, including Level III and Level IV NICUs, with rotating shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, and update families regularly on their child's condition.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (must possess a valid certification; FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications are not eligible).
- Minimum of 2 years of post-certification experience as an NNP in a comparable high-acuity neonatal environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including 24-hour shifts at Level III units, and 10- or 12-hour day and night shifts at Level IV units.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality neonatal care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-volume, high-acuity NICU settings.
- Proficiency with advanced neonatal monitoring and respiratory equipment.
