IU Health Physicians is hiring! We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Level 3 NICU at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN!

Position Details:

  • Full-time
  • 24-hour shifts
  • 100% inpatient
  • 8-12 infant case load during the day; 31-bed NICU
  • Team includes 4 physicians and 9 APPs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend deliveries of high-risk neonatal patients
  • Care for neonatal patients requiring ICU level care; develop plan of care
  • Perform procedures including intubations, line placements, PICC, UAL/UVL, chest tube placement and management
  • In collaboration with Riley's Neonatologists and subspecialty consulting physicians, provision of clinical management for level 3 NICU patients
  • Provision of patient and family centered care
  • Active participation in quality and safety initiatives
  • Active participation in Department of Neonatology and Advanced Practice Provider service specific educational and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree required
  • NNP or PA-Neonatal certification required
  • Open to new graduates with NICU experience
  • NICU experience, ideally level 3 or 4, required
