Banner University Medical Center Phoenix invites an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collaborative Nocturnist team. We are looking for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver exceptional, high-quality, patient-centered care with compassion, dedication, and collaboration, ensuring every hospitalized patient receives safe and timely care. Key Responsibilities:
- Hospital Cross-Coverage: develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
- Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized adult patients in collaboration with physicians, residents, nurses, and other members of the care team
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
- Maintain documentation in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory standards
Opportunity Details:
- Night Shift Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts/week, 7pm-7am.
- Shift differential of $125 per shift

- CME days plus allowance

Requirements:
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current Arizona license or in process
- DEA with prescriptive authority required
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
- Experienced ACNP or PA with a background in Acute Care, Cardiology, GI, or Inpatient Medicine - or new grads with bedside, ED, ICU, or SWAT experience - are encouraged to apply!
