As a Nurse Practitioner at ChenMed, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care in various settings, including medical centers and nursing homes. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting assessments, developing nursing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. With a focus on geriatric care, you will utilize your clinical expertise to manage patient health effectively. This position requires a current RN licensure and Nurse Practitioner Certification, along with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will conduct geriatric assessments, medical histories, and physical exams to diagnose and treat patients.
The candidate will develop and implement nursing care plans based on patient assessments and needs.
The candidate will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with guidelines and quality patient care.
The candidate will document patient progress and management strategies through detailed notes and summaries.
Qualifications
Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
Board certification by AANP or ANCC is preferred but may be required for certain States.
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
Time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure are important.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite are required.
