A premier healthcare system in Greensboro, North Carolina is seeking an experienced Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner for a 52-week locum tenens assignment in a well-supported outpatient clinic setting. Position Highlights

Practice Setting

Join a collaborative Infectious Disease team consisting of:

• Infectious Disease Physicians
• Registered Nurses
• Certified Medical Assistants
• Advanced Practice Providers

You'll provide comprehensive specialty care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, preventive healthcare screenings, patient education, and ongoing management of complex infectious diseases.

Required Experience & Skills

• Recent and strong experience managing HIV-positive patients
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
• Interpret diagnostic studies and laboratory results
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate specialty care follow-up
• Educate patients and families regarding infectious disease conditions and treatments
• Experience in outpatient Infectious Disease settings preferred

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Active North Carolina License (must be licensed at submission)
• DEA Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 3 years of NP experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Master's Degree in Nursing required

Contract Length: 52 Weeks
Coverage Needed: 5 days per week
Credentialing: Approximately 60-90 days
