Bon Secours Southside Regional Medical Center is Hiring an NP/PA in Infectious Disease!
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with board-certified Infectious Disease physicians in a consultative, hospital-based practice serving a diverse and medically complex patient population. We are accepting candidates with infectious disease experience or experienced primary care NP/PAs.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with board-certified Infectious Disease physicians in a consultative, hospital-based practice serving a diverse and medically complex patient population. We are accepting candidates with infectious disease experience or experienced primary care NP/PAs.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborative physician–APP model with strong physician mentorship
- Integrated multidisciplinary support including pharmacy, microbiology, infection prevention, and case management
- Perform inpatient Infectious Disease consultations under physician collaboration
- Independently evaluate patients, review cultures and diagnostic data, and formulate assessment and treatment plans
- Document consults and follow-ups in the EMR in a timely and thorough manner
Qualifications
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Strong interest in Infectious Disease and hospital-based medicine
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
