Clinical Role
RecruitWell is seeking an experienced Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for a permanent Hospitalist opportunity in Bardstown, Kentucky. This role includes managing complex hospitalized patients in an open ICU environment and requires prior ICU experience. New graduates will not be considered.

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Manage and treat complex hospitalized patients

• Provide care within an open ICU environment

• Assist with admissions and ongoing inpatient management

• Collaborate closely with Hospitalist physicians and fellow APPs

• Provide comprehensive patient care under physician supervision as appropriate

• Participate actively in monthly team meetings

• Stay informed on practice updates, developments, and broader organizational initiatives

• Participate in hospital committees and operational initiatives

• Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented hospital environment

Support & Team Structure

• 2 physicians

• 3 advanced practice providers

• Clinical performance nurse support

• Collaborative Hospitalist team

• Physician supervision available for admissions and patient management

Requirements

• Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner required

• Prior ICU experience required

• Must be comfortable managing complex patients in an open ICU

• No new graduates

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Visa sponsorship is not available
