Exclusive Locum opportunity for a Pain Management Physician! Join a dynamic ambulatory clinic providing advanced interventional procedures. This 26-week assignment offers M-F daytime shifts with on-call coverage after hours and weekends. Perfect for board-eligible or board-certified providers with NY licensure and Epic experience.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat various illnesses and acute conditions
• Admit and examine patients
• Coordinate care with primary physicians and hospital staff
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
• Answer patient questions and provide education
• Document all patient care accurately in Epic
Qualifications
• ACLS and BLS required
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in hospitalist or acute care setting
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
Working Hours
• Roughly 1 week per month coverage
• Call not required
