Wellstar MCG Health is seeking an Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant to join the inaugural Hospital Medicine team at the new Wellstar Columbia County Medical Center, anticipated to open Fall 2026 in the Augusta, Georgia region.
This is a unique opportunity to help launch a new hospital medicine program within one of Georgia’s most integrated health systems while providing high-quality inpatient care.
Job Responsibilities
Provide inpatient clinical care to hospitalized patients
Collaborate with hospitalists and multidisciplinary care teams
Participate in patient assessment, treatment planning, and care coordination
Responsible for clinical documentation and administrative functions related to patient care and billing
