Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois – A peaceful suburban community located just south of Chicago, offering the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Olympia Fields features tree-lined neighborhoods, beautiful parks, and a strong sense of community, with easy access to Chicago’s dining, culture, and entertainment.

Facility: A 214-bed community hospital providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients across a wide range of adult and geriatric diagnoses. The hospitalist team operates within a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care and seamless coordination across departments.

Details:

  • Team: Join a growing hospitalist group adding two Nurse Practitioners to expand inpatient coverage and provide occasional support to the Pre-Surgical Clinic.

  • Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., with block schedules starting every Tuesday and ending on Monday.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Rounding on patients within and outside the observation unit.

    • Ordering tests, consulting specialists, and coordinating care to ensure timely discharges.

    • Providing occasional coverage in the Pre-Surgical Clinic (as needed).

  • Patient Population: Primarily adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses.

  • Qualifications:

    • Nurse Practitioner certification and active Illinois license required.

    • Hospitalist experience preferred; will consider inpatient specialty or acute care RN experience with relevant NP training.

    • Must be flexible to cover pre-surgical clinic as needed.

    • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach essential.

    • Outpatient experience is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $135,000 – $150,000 annually, based on hospitalist experience, plus incentives.
