Seeking a board-certified Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner that is ICU capable with experience. Up to 7on/7off availability, night shifts from 8P - 8A with procedures. All travel, lodging and malpractice is covered. Please see the below details for more information.
Job Responsibilities
- Open ICU Model - Nurse Practitioner will need to manage ICU patients
- Daily Census - 10
- Admits - 2 - 4 Per Day
- Beds - 49 Beds
- ICU Beds - 6 Beds
- EMR - Epic
Qualifications
Michigan State License
BLS and ACLS
Case Logs - 50 Cases in 12 Months
Working Hours
Skills
• Insertion and Management of Central Venous Catheters
• Insertion and Management of Arterial Catheters
• Moderate Sedation
• Lumbar Puncture
• Endotracheal Intubation and Extubation
• Ventilator Management Including Readiness for And Administering Respirator Weaning/Oxygen Therapy and Extubation. Assessing Need for Intubation
• Insertion of Arterial Lines, Central Venous Lines Either Percutaneously or By Cut Down
• Chest Tube Insertion
• Tracheostomy care including tube change
• Arterial Line Insertion and Removal (Radial and Femoral)
• CVC Line Placement
• External Pacing Including Adjusting Temporary Epicardial, Transvenous Or Transcutaneous Pacemaker as necessary management of Tension Pneumothorax in Emergent Situation
