A well-established healthcare system in Central Washington is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join its Hospitalist team. This role provides the opportunity to deliver comprehensive, high-quality inpatient care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
Prescribe medications and therapies in collaboration with the attending physician
Consult with specialists and coordinate multidisciplinary care
Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and changes in condition
Mentor and precept APP students as needed
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Active Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
Inpatient or hospitalist experience preferred but not required
Working Hours
Evening and night shifts required
Flexible 10-hour shift structure
Non-union, exempt position
Skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable managing complex inpatient cases
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
