Opportunity Overview
- Inpatient Hematology/Oncology APP needed
- Open to locums-to-permanent options
- NP or PA accepted
- Full-time position
- 3-month initial assignment with option to extend
- 686-bed hospital
- All-age patient population
- Average 11-16 patients per day
- Support staff available
Schedule & Coverage
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Day shift
- Full-time coverage
- APP support available during the day for inpatient Hematology and Oncology
- No APP support for call or weekend coverage
Clinical Details
- Inpatient Hematology/Oncology
- Experience with both benign and malignant Hematology required
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Bone marrow knowledge is preferred, but specialized experience is not required
- EPIC EMR
- Two APP positions available: one with an Oncology focus and one with a strong Hematology focus
- Infusion center is staffed separately
- BLS and ACLS required
Requirements
- NP or PA
- Board certified
- Minnesota license required for an ASAP start
- IMLC candidates may be considered for licensing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- DEA not required
- Recent Hematology/Oncology experience required
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Clean background may qualify for temporary privileges
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60-90 days
