Key Details - Assignment Type: Locum Tenens - Setting: Outpatient Clinic - Start Date: December 1, 2026 - Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch from 12 PM to 1 PM) - Patient Population: Adult - Location: Eureka, CA - Stipends: Housing options available, with a maximum approval of $3,500 per month for long-term housing

Job Responsibilities - Assess, diagnose, and treat adult patients with hematology and oncology conditions. - Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team attached to the chemo treatment center and the hospital. - Manage patient encounters averaging 12-14 per shift.
Qualifications - Active Nurse Practitioner license - Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in relevant specialty - Two years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty required
Working Hours - Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM - Must be available for a minimum of 2-4 weeks per month - Overtime applies after 9 hours per day with prior approval
Skills - Strong clinical background in hematology and oncology required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required - Ability to provide comprehensive case logs for inpatient care privileges
