DocStar Medical Partners is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) with Hematology/Oncology experience for a short-term locum assignment in NC.
📍 Location: North Carolina
🏥 Facility Type: Hospital
📅 Start Date: May 28, 2026 (ASAP)
📅 End Date: July 2026
⏳ Assignment Length: ~8 Weeks
🕐 Credentialing: ~6 weeks (potential for emergency credentialing)
💼 Position Highlights
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- No call, no weekends
- 100% outpatient setting
📊 Clinical Details
- Patient Volume: 12–14 patients per day
- Setting: 12-bed symptom management clinic + infusion support
- EMR: Epic
🧠 Responsibilities
- Provide care for hematology/oncology patients experiencing acute chemotherapy-related side effects:
- Nausea, vomiting
- Dehydration
- Fever
- Manage outpatient oncology cases and support infusion suite patients with medication reactions
- No critical care responsibilities
- Not required to respond to codes
✅ Requirements
- NP or PA (Board Certified)
- Active North Carolina license (clean)
- BLS (AHA) and DEA required
- Hematology/Oncology experience strongly preferred
