Hematology Oncology NP/PA | Santa Barbara County, CA | Build a New Oral Chemo Program
For over 20 years, a premier cancer center in Santa Barbara County has delivered exceptional care to its community. Now it’s looking for an experienced Hematology Oncology APP, preferably an NP, to help launch and shape a brand-new oral chemotherapy program. You’ll have real autonomy, a strong physician team behind you, and a hand in building something from the ground up, all on California’s Central Coast.

- Autonomous practice: A 100-150 patient panel with billable visits and strong physician and clinical support
- Room to grow: Help build the program, with a goal of expanding to three APPs
What You’ll Do
- Manage patients receiving oral chemotherapy
- Monitor labs, medications, treatment response, and chemotherapy-related side effects
- Partner closely with pharmacy and the oncology care team
- Support medication compliance and patient education
- Develop and refine workflows as the program grows
What You Bring
- NP preferred; PA considered
- Hematology/medical oncology experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing chemotherapy side effects and toxicities
- Comfort with lab and medication management and oncology compliance
- Ability to work independently
- Infusion experience is a plus
