A large Cancer Care department in the Myrtle Beach area has a great opportunity for an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Must have at least 2+ year of experience in role as NP/PA
- Outpatient clinical role - no inpatient work
- Mon-Fri 8a-5p - no call responsibilities
- Each NP/PA has a dedicated nurse and will work closely with the Oncology nursing team
- 40% Oncology and 60% Hematology
- Chemotherapy management, follow up visits, symptom management, and routine check-ups for ongoing cancer treatments
- Procedures include assisting with bone marrow biopsies, administration of chemotherapy, and management of port care
- Average patient volume is 15-20 patients per day
- Adult patients with various types of cancers and hematologic disorders
- You will work with 3 Physicians and 2 other APP's
- EMR used is Cerner
