Opportunity:

NP/PA - Geriatric Medicine

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  
• Practice setting is a PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) Clinic
  
• Work autonomously with a Medical Director present during assignment
  
• Patient population is exclusively geriatric
  
• Experienced providers only; new graduates will not be considered
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population required
  
• Experience or added qualifications in geriatrics preferred
  
• Documentation system/EMR: EPIC
  
• Board certification required (ANCC or AANP)
  
• Active North Carolina license required
  
• BLS, CDS Certification, and DEA Registration required
  
• No on-call or weekend requirements
  
• Provider must be local; only mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

This facility operates as a PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) center, designed to assist older adults in living safely and independently at home. The program provides comprehensive medical, health, and social services including adult day health programs, rehabilitation therapy, nutritious meals, and social engagement, delivered both at the center and in participants' homes. Services are available to eligible adults aged 55 and older who meet state requirements for nursing home-level care but can safely remain in the community.
