• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible nurse practitioner

• Must have 6+ months of post-training experience as an NP in gastroenterology

• Provide comprehensive GI care in long-term care, skilled nursing, and acute care settings

• Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred; hospital and outpatient experience will also be considered

• Monday-Friday, 9a-5p

• Ability to work 3-5 days per week

• Part-time or full-time options available

• Call schedule to be determined

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred, not required

• H-1B visa sponsorship available, if needed

• Provide gastroenterology consultations for residents of skilled nursing facilities

• Conduct comprehensive GI-focused evaluations

• Evaluate and manage conditions such as GERD, GI bleeding, liver disease, constipation, dysphagia, and inflammatory bowel disease

• Order and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, and stool studies

• Manage medications and nutritional recommendations for GI conditions

• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, facility providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care

• Educate patients and caregivers about diet, medication adherence, and symptom management

• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation and comply with applicable regulatory requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP license required

• DEA registration required

• Current BCLS/BLS certification required

• Master’s degree in nursing and graduation from an accredited NP program required

• Familiarity with EMR systems such as Sigma, Visual, or PCC preferred; training provided

• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
