Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

In partnership with the University of Arizona, Banner University Medical Group Phoenix is hiring for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Gastroenterology team in the sunny metropolitan desert. Your time will be shared between clinics at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix and Banner Health Center plus located in the Arcadia community. Banner Health Center plus Arcadia, is located at 44th Street and Camelback in Phoenix, AZ. This innovative academic campus is designed to provide the people of Arcadia and surrounding areas a single location for many of their non-acute health care needs. The academic clinical setting also allows for immediate access to on-site advanced imaging, lab, pharmacy, and will include several providers across 11 different specialties, including hosting resident and fellow trainees in rotation. On-Site Specialties:

· Internal Medicine

· Obstetrics & Gynecology

· Bariatrics

· Urgent Care

· Endocrinology

· General Surgery

· Physical Therapy

· On-Site Imaging Modalities

Details include:

· Clinic Outpatient position – Monday through Friday; 8a to 5p - No weekend call

· Opportunity to work in an autonomous clinic environment along with a collaborative and supportive team

· Utilizes the most up to date and evidence-based practice for plan of care and altering the plan according to patient needs

· Flexibility to meet changing needs of the current healthcare environment

· Brand new, state of the art endoscopy center with the latest technology at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix

· Attendance highly recommended in preparing and/or presenting at Departmental/Divisional meetings

· Involvement with GI clinical research opportunities exist

Minimum Qualifications:

· NP/PA experience in Gastroenterology preferred, however new grads are welcome.

· Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances

· Current Arizona Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license

· Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
