A premier, physician-led multi-specialty medical group in Manhattan is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing Gastroenterology team. This is an outstanding opportunity for providers with gastroenterology experience or experienced Primary Care NPs/Client looking to transition into a GI-focused practice. Comprehensive specialty training will be available for the right candidate.
Position Highlights

- Schedule: Full-time
- Practice Model: Single-site assignment with minimal cross-coverage during provider PTO
- Practice Setting: Outpatient-focused with strong physician collaboration and support
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
- Perform detailed patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage ongoing GI-related concerns.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing and coordinate care plans with gastroenterologists and other specialists.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure a high level of patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Active New York State NP or PA license.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Prior Gastroenterology experience strongly preferred.
- Experienced Primary Care NPs/Client with a demonstrated interest in Gastroenterology will be considered.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient presentation skills.
- Local candidates preferred.
- Nurse Practitioners must be comfortable practicing under physician supervision and working within a collaborative care model.
