Job description
An excellent Locum Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Bellingham, Washington. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call responsibilities, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care while working alongside an experienced Gastroenterology team.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage GI-related conditions in both outpatient clinic and hospital settings.
Collaborate with Gastroenterologists and Advanced Practice Providers to develop treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while managing an average of 16 patients per day.
Qualifications
Active Washington State NP license or willingness to obtain one
Current BLS certification
Recent clinical activity within the past 24 months that meets credentialing requirements
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Working Hours
Call: None
Start Date: September 2026 (ASAP upon credentialing)
Assignment Duration: Through October 2026, with potential for extension
Skills
Experience managing adult Gastroenterology patients
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Strong documentation and organizational skills
