🔍 Position Overview

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you’ll play a key role in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions, coordinating care plans, and guiding patients through treatment and prevention strategies.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including history and physical exams
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
• Diagnose GI conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care
• Educate patients on conditions, procedures, and preventive care
• Ensure continuity of care across clinic and inpatient settings
• Maintain accurate documentation (EPIC experience a plus)
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Stay current with clinical best practices and ongoing education

✅ Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Active Idaho license (or ability to obtain)
• Master’s degree required (Doctorate preferred)
• 1+ year of Gastroenterology experience required
• Experience in clinic, hospital, ER, or specialty care settings
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation standards

⏱️ Schedule

• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Clinic)
• Inpatient rotations based on coverage needs
• Occasional night call
