Salary Range: $85k–$105k (based on experience)
Are you a passionate clinician eager to make a difference in the field of gastroenterology? We’re seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our client’s dynamic GI department, serving patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings at a respected medical center in New York.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partner with gastroenterology physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct specialized diagnostic tests and assessments for patients presenting with gastrointestinal concerns.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress and evolving needs.
- Deliver patient education, including disease prevention and self-care strategies, to empower those you serve.
- Maintain meticulous medical records using charting systems and documentation best practices.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to drive quality outcomes and efficient care delivery.
- Ensure medical documentation of patient encounters, treatments, interventions, and results is consistently accurate and timely.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State (required)
- Graduate of an accredited NP program at the master’s level
- At least 5 years’ acute inpatient experience
- 3+ years as an NP (preferably in GI, or in adult/family practice)
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly valued
