Job description
The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Position Overview
• Provide comprehensive outpatient gastroenterology care in collaboration with Gastroenterology physicians
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions
• Conduct follow-up visits for patients with IBD, GERD, liver disease, pancreatic disorders, and other digestive health conditions
• Provide pre- and post-procedure education and management for endoscopic procedures
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, surgeons, oncology, and hepatology teams
• Manage medication regimens, including biologics and specialty therapies
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the Gastroenterology service line
This role is ideal for an APP who values team-based specialty care, clinical autonomy within a collaborative structure, and practicing in a well-supported Gastroenterology program.
New graduates with strong clinical training in Gastroenterology are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
• Master’s or Doctorate degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
• Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
• Washington State NP license (or eligible)
• Active/Eligible DEA registration with full prescriptive authority
• Experience in Gastroenterology preferred, but not required
