Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive and focused GI evaluations, including detailed histories and physical exams.
  • Manage follow-up visits for chronic GI conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and other digestive disorders.
  • Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic studies including labs, imaging, and GI-specific tests.
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure education for patients undergoing endoscopy, colonoscopy, and related procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and support staff to coordinate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.

  • Previous Gastroenterology experience is required—outpatient or inpatient.
  • Strong understanding of common GI diagnoses, medications, and management strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative care team.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and patient engagement skills.
  • Comfort working in a busy specialty practice with high patient volume.
  • Experience in both clinic and procedural settings.
  • Familiarity with GI-focused diagnostic testing and treatment pathways.
