A growing gastroenterology team in scenic central Washington is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide specialty care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Job Responsibilities
Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
Prescribe medications and assist in procedures when appropriate
Educate patients and families on GI-related conditions, treatments, and preventive health
Maintain complete and timely medical documentation in accordance with clinic policies
Coordinate care with specialists and primary care providers as needed
Participate in clinic initiatives, planning, and process improvements
Uphold compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines in clinical practice
Maintain current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
CPR certification
Working Hours
8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
No overnight or weekend call required
Skills
Strong communication and patient education abilities
Proficient in managing GI-related chronic conditions and acute concerns
Comfortable working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Familiarity with EMR systems and digital documentation
Passion for high-quality, compassionate patient care in a specialty setting
