An established gastroenterology practice in Wenatchee, Washington is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its growing team. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment, set against the stunning backdrop of central Washington’s mountains, rivers, and high desert landscape.
Position Overview:
The Nurse Practitioner will provide care to patients in both clinic and hospital settings, managing chronic and acute gastrointestinal conditions. Responsibilities include conducting examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, establishing diagnoses, prescribing medications, and educating patients and their families.
Job Responsibilities
Provide primary health care services in collaboration with gastroenterologists
Perform evaluations and diagnostic testing
Develop and implement treatment plans
Educate patients and families on gastrointestinal health and wellness
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Refer patients to specialty services as appropriate
Participate in ongoing quality improvement and professional development initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
Active Registered Nurse and ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington State by start date
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
Preferred:
Previous experience in gastroenterology or a related field
