An established employer-sponsored health clinic in Orange, Connecticut is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner for a contract assignment providing comprehensive primary care services to an adult employee population.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced provider who enjoys practicing relationship-based medicine in a low-volume outpatient setting focused on preventive care, chronic disease management, wellness services, and occupational health support.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive adult primary care services
• Evaluate and treat common acute illnesses
• Manage chronic medical conditions
• Conduct annual wellness and preventive visits
• Perform biometric screenings and health assessments
• Deliver health coaching and lifestyle counseling
• Perform well-woman examinations
• Manage workers' compensation cases
• Support occupational health initiatives
• Address minor behavioral health concerns
• Document encounters within Athena EMR
• Collaborate with clinic staff to coordinate patient care

Schedule

40 Hours Per Week

• Monday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Lunch Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
• Wednesday: 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

Qualifications

Required

• Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) or Adult Nurse Practitioner
• Active Connecticut NP License
• Active DEA Registration
• Current BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience
• Recent outpatient primary care experience within the last 2 years
• Experience managing acute and chronic conditions
• Comfortable caring for adult patient populations

• Well-Woman Exam experience
• Autonomous practice experience
