✨ Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and ongoing health conditions.
• Provide evidence-based primary and family healthcare.
• Conduct routine examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic testing.
• Manage chronic diseases and promote preventive healthcare.
• Educate patients on wellness, healthy lifestyle choices, and disease prevention.
• Coordinate individualized care plans with a dedicated clinical team.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure appropriate patient follow-up.
• Assist with clinic operations, including opening and closing, inventory, and patient administration.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care — required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
• Knowledge of chronic disease management and healthcare quality measures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to practice autonomously and collaborate effectively with a clinical care team.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
• Must live in the local area and be able to float between Auburndale and Lakeland.

🕒 Schedule & Additional Requirements

• Full-time, patient-facing position.
• Rotating weekend coverage, generally three out of every six weekends.
• Possible holiday rotations and on-call responsibilities.
• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.
