🩺 What You’ll Do

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients across a range of primary and family healthcare needs.
• Perform routine examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic testing.
• Manage acute illnesses and chronic health conditions.
• Educate patients on preventive care, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and support patient follow-up.
• Assist with clinic operations, including opening and closing, inventory, and patient administration.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of recent Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care — mandatory.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to practice autonomously while working effectively with a clinical care team.
• Knowledge of chronic disease management and electronic medical records.

🕒 Schedule & Additional Details

• Full-time float assignment supporting Merrimon Avenue.
• Schedule described by the hiring team as a typical 38/27 schedule.
• Rotating weekend coverage, generally three out of every six weekends.
• Possible holiday rotations and on-call responsibilities.
• Occasional travel for float coverage may be required.
• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
• This is a safety-sensitive, patient-facing position.
