Polish-Speaking Physician Assistant / Family Nurse Practitioner (PA/FNP)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Salary: $110,000-$150,000 per year + Quarterly and annual Bonus

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Polish-speaking Physician Assistant (PA) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join an outpatient primary care practice in Chicago, Illinois.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Polish and passionate about providing high-quality care to patients of all ages. This position is open to experienced providers as well as new graduates who are eager to develop their primary care skills.

Training and a gradual increase in patient volume will be provided to help you transition successfully into the role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations.

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.

• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications within the applicable scope of practice.

• Order and review laboratory tests, imaging, EKGs, and other diagnostic studies.

• Provide preventive care, health screenings, immunizations, and patient education.

• Perform appropriate clinical procedures, including injections and wound care, based on training and scope of practice.

• Coordinate referrals, diagnostic results, and follow-up care.

• Communicate effectively with English- and Polish-speaking patients and their families.

• Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate patient records using the Athenahealth electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Follow applicable clinical, safety, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois license as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Family Nurse Practitioner, as applicable.

• Appropriate board certification for the professional designation.

• Master's degree from an accredited PA or advanced nursing program.

• Fluency in both English and Polish is required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in family medicine or outpatient primary care.

• Pediatric experience is a plus.

• Strong clinical assessment and patient-management skills.

New graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates who are fluent in English and Polish may be considered even without prior primary care experience.

Schedule and Patient Volume

• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.

• Outpatient setting serving patients of all ages.

• Gradual patient-volume ramp-up during training.

• Expected patient volume after training: approximately three patients per hour.
