Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care Floating

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care team. This full-time position requires floating between multiple outpatient primary care locations in Newark and East Orange, providing comprehensive services to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for serving the community.

Overview

• Full-time Primary Care NP or PA position.
• Float between approximately 3-5 outpatient primary care locations throughout Newark and East Orange.
• Provide comprehensive primary care services including annual wellness visits, preventive care, chronic disease management, and same-day sick visits.
• Treat patients across the lifespan in an established community-based practice.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and support staff.
• Manage a patient volume commensurate with an experienced outpatient primary care provider.
• Monday-Friday schedule, generally 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Occasional Saturday coverage may be required based on practice needs.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• 3-5 years of outpatient Primary Care experience required.
• Comfortable practicing independently in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.
• Bilingual Spanish required due to the patient population served.
• Experience managing chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, COPD, and obesity.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to travel between multiple practice locations throughout Newark and East Orange.
