Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – General Medical Examiner
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a flexible, part-time General Medical Examiner opportunity in Garden City, KS.
This is an evaluation-only position supporting Veterans disability examinations. You will conduct General Medical Compensation & Pension exams, review medical records, complete DBQs, and provide thorough, objective reports. No treatment plans, prescribing, call coverage, or ongoing patient management.
- Location: Garden City, KS
- Schedule: 1 day per week
- Employment: Part-time / Per Diem
- Volume: Approximately 15–20 Veterans per month
- Openings: 1
- Local requirement: Must live within 25 miles of Garden City, KS
Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Comfortable reviewing records and completing DBQs
- Disability-exam or Veterans evaluation experience is a plus, but not required
