🩺 About the Opportunity

CVS MinuteClinic is seeking qualified and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to provide high-quality, evidence-based primary and family healthcare in Clayton, Missouri.

The ideal candidates will have recent primary care or urgent care experience and a passion for patient-centered care, preventive health, and chronic disease management.

🚨 Mandatory Requirement: At least 1 year of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

💼 Key Responsibilities

✅ Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions.
✅ Provide primary and family healthcare services.
✅ Conduct routine examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic tests.
✅ Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
✅ Support chronic disease management, behavioral health, and wellness initiatives.
✅ Coordinate patient care with the clinical team to improve health outcomes.
✅ Maintain accurate patient records and manage follow-up care.
✅ Assist with clinic operations, inventory, insurance verification, and payments.
✅ Work independently while collaborating with healthcare professionals.

🎓 Required Qualifications

🔹 master's degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program.
🔹 Current national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
🔹 Active NP license in Missouri.
🔹 Minimum 1 year of recent primary care, family medicine, or urgent care experience as an NP.
🔹 Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
🔹 NP license in good standing, with no current or prior disciplinary actions.
🔹 Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
🔹 Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
🔹 Ability to practice autonomously and work effectively within a clinical care team.
🔹 Willingness to obtain additional state licenses if required.

🗓️ Work Schedule

⏰ Up to 40 hours per week, based on business needs.
📆 Schedule may include every other weekend.
🎄 Holiday rotations may be required.
📞 An on-call rotation may be required.
🏥 Patient-facing clinical position with onsite requirements.
