Job Title: Nurse Practitioner(Part-Time)
Location: Coeburn, VA 24230
Duration: 1 year to long term
Shift: Day Shift
Hours/Week: 8 Hours/week
• Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications when authorized, and arrange referrals to specialists or outside healthcare facilities.
• Assess medical emergencies, provide appropriate initial care, coordinate emergency transportation, and arrange follow-up services.
• Recognize behavioral health concerns, identify urgent risks, provide appropriate initial support, and coordinate referrals to qualified mental health professionals.
• Review medication use, monitor treatment response, and ensure medications are handled according to applicable policies and regulations.
• Current DEA Certification
• Basic Life Support Certification

Job Responsibilities:
• Evaluate students with illnesses, injuries, and other health concerns; perform physical examinations and clinical assessments within the scope of licensure.• Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications when authorized, and arrange referrals to specialists or outside healthcare facilities.
• Assess medical emergencies, provide appropriate initial care, coordinate emergency transportation, and arrange follow-up services.
