Job description
A hospital in the Brattleboro area is adding two to three NPs or PAs after recent clinician departures. The work is clinic-based outpatient primary care for adult and geriatric patients, plus limited SNF and assisted living coverage. Pay is $110 per hour. Coverage is expected to start in December or January.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver preventive care and chronic disease management
- Cover limited SNF and assisted living patients as needed
- Take beeper and phone call on a 1:10 rotation, about 1 callback a day (call pay being confirmed)
- No leadership or teaching responsibilities
Qualifications
- Adult and geriatric patient care experience (required)
- Active Vermont license (preferred)
- Primary care experience (preferred)
- Lapsed board certification is not accepted
- Malpractice history reviewed case by case
Working Hours
Flexible scheduling available. Clinic-based, about 16 patients per day. Weekly hours being confirmed. Expected start in December or January. Credentialing takes about 60 to 90 days, and temporary privileges are available.
