🩺 Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the MinuteClinic team in Crystal Lake, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care and a strong commitment to patient-centered healthcare.
The selected candidate will work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients' health conditions while promoting preventive care and positive health outcomes.
✨ Key Responsibilities
- 🩻 Perform patient assessments, routine examinations, diagnosis, and treatment.
- 💊 Manage acute and chronic health conditions.
- ❤️ Provide preventive care, health screenings, and wellness counseling.
- 👩⚕️ Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- 📋 Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate patient follow-ups.
- 🌱 Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and chronic disease management.
- 🏥 Support clinic operations, including inventory, opening and closing, insurance verification, and payment collection.
- 🧼 Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment.
✅ Required Qualifications
- 🎓 Master's degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- 📜 Current national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- 🪪 Active Illinois NP license in good standing, with no current or prior disciplinary actions.
- 🩺 Minimum of 1 year of recent primary care experience in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care.
- ❤️ Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- 💻 Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- 🤝 Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- 🌎 Willingness to obtain additional state licenses if required.
🗓️ Work Schedule
- ⏰ Approximately 35 hours per week.
- 📅 Typically 2–3 weekdays plus every other weekend.
- 🕒 Approximately 180 hours over a six-week schedule.
- 🔄 An on-call rotation may be required; candidates participating in on-call duties must be identified during submission.
- 🎉 Possible holiday rotations, including work three out of every six weekends unless otherwise specified.
