Position Highlights

• 👩‍⚕️ Role: Nurse Practitioner (Family/Primary Care)
• 🕒 Schedule: Approximately 30–38 hours per week
• 📅 Weekdays: 2–3 shifts per week
• 🗓️ Weekend Coverage: Saturday/Sunday shifts on a rotating basis
• 🎉 Holiday rotations may be required
• 🔄 Must be willing to float to cover clinics within the Gainesville area
• 🏥 On-site, patient-facing position

Required Qualifications

• 🎓 master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
• 📜 Active Florida RN and APRN licenses in good standing
• 🩺 Current national board certification
• ⏳ Minimum of 1 year of recent Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care
• ❤️ Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)
• 🪪 NPI number required
• 💊 DEA registration may be required during onboarding
• 🚗 Willingness to travel between Gainesville-area clinics as needed

Key Responsibilities

• 🩺 Assess, diagnose, and treat patients using evidence-based care
• 💚 Manage acute and chronic health conditions
• 🧪 Perform routine examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic testing
• 💬 Provide health counseling and promote healthy lifestyle choices
• 🤝 Collaborate with the clinical care team to improve patient outcomes
• 📋 Maintain accurate documentation and support clinic operations
