Practice Setting

Providers will support an employee health clinic serving workers in an industrial environment. Care will include routine primary care services, occupational medicine evaluations, workplace injury management, preventive care, and employee wellness initiatives.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with employees while helping support workplace health and safety goals.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services
• Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Conduct occupational medicine evaluations
• Manage workplace injuries and return-to-work assessments
• Perform routine physical examinations and health screenings
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans within scope of practice
• Provide preventive care and wellness counseling
• Document patient encounters within EPIC
• Coordinate care with collaborating physicians and healthcare team members

Schedule

40 Hours Per Week

• Monday-Friday
• Shift times to be determined

Additional Details

• Providers must be flexible with scheduling
• New clinic site with evolving operational needs
• Start Date: December 2026
• Initial 3-month assignment

Qualifications

Required

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Active Texas Nurse Practitioner License
• Active DEA Registration
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in:
  • Primary Care
  • Occupational Health
• Experience in outpatient clinical settings

Preferred

• EPIC EMR experience
• Employee Health experience
• Occupational Medicine experience
• Workers' Compensation experience
• Industrial or manufacturing clinic experience
