An established healthcare facility in Arizona is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a long-term locum tenens assignment in an outpatient urgent care setting. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, a collaborative clinical environment, and the opportunity to care for patients across the entire lifespan.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable treating patients from newborn through geriatric populations. Providers with procedural experience are highly preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Outpatient urgent care setting
Monday-Friday schedule
8:00 AM-5:00 PM shifts
No call responsibilities
Long-term 240-day assignment
See patients of all ages, from newborns to end-of-life
Collaborative team environment
Work alongside Family Practice, Pediatrics, and OB/GYN providers
Dedicated support staff available
EMR: Meditech
Qualifications
Active Arizona NP license or willing to obtain
BLS Certification required
PALS Certification required
Must be comfortable seeing patients across all age groups
Skills
Family medicine experience
Procedural skills
Experience with pediatric and adult patient populations
