Part-Time Aesthetic Injector / Family Nurse Practitioner
Fort Mill, South Carolina | Part-Time | On-Site
About the Opportunity
A well-established medical aesthetics practice in Fort Mill, South Carolina, serving the greater Charlotte area, is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its team.
We are open to Aesthetic Nurse Practitioners and Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) with relevant clinical experience. Candidates with hands-on experience in neurotoxin and dermal filler injections are strongly preferred.
This opportunity is ideal for an NP who combines strong clinical judgment with excellent communication, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to aesthetic care.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations and review medical history, medications, allergies, and treatment goals.
Assess patients for treatment suitability and identify contraindications.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, anatomy, and aesthetic goals.
Perform neurotoxin and dermal filler injections within established protocols and scope of practice, when trained and competent.
Explain treatment options, expected results, potential risks, limitations, aftercare, and follow-up.
Obtain and document informed consent.
Apply appropriate injection techniques, product handling, and infection-control practices.
Deliver balanced, natural-looking aesthetic results.
Monitor patients during and after treatment and provide appropriate aftercare instructions.
Recognize potential adverse reactions or complications and follow established escalation protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Build long-term patient relationships through education, communication, and consistent follow-up.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members.
Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
Qualifications
Required
Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
Appropriate national certification and prescriptive authority.
Eligibility to practice in South Carolina.
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or other qualified NP certification.
Prior clinical experience in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, plastic surgery, family medicine, or a related clinical setting.
Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and patient-education skills.
Commitment to patient safety, documentation, infection control, and established protocols.
Ability to work part-time, on-site in Fort Mill, SC.
Reliable local commute; relocation assistance is not available.
Strongly Preferred
Hands-on neurotoxin injection experience.
Hands-on dermal filler experience.
Previous aesthetic consultation experience.
Knowledge of facial anatomy relevant to injectable procedures.
Experience in a medical spa, aesthetic practice, dermatology office, or plastic surgery practice.
Experience with skincare, skin rejuvenation, or other nonsurgical aesthetic services.
Family Nurse Practitioners with strong clinical experience who are interested in aesthetics are encouraged to apply. Additional aesthetic training requirements will be discussed based on the candidate's experience and competency.
