🩺 Position Overview

MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioners work in collaboration with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based care to a panel of patients.

The provider will be responsible for accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning. The role reports to the Practice Manager.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including:
  • Accurate assessment and diagnosis
  • Treatment and management of health problems
  • Health counseling
  • Disposition planning
• Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations.
• Discuss healthy lifestyle choices with patients.
• Complete diagnostic tests to assist with diagnosis and treatment of injuries and illnesses.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
• Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and well-being through:
  • Health screenings
  • Behavioral health
  • Wellness services
  • Chronic condition management
• Perform administrative duties, including:
  • Opening/closing the clinic
  • Inventory management
  • Patient follow-up
  • Insurance verification
  • Payment collection
  • Maintaining a clean clinical environment

✅ Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in one of the following:
  • Family Medicine
  • Primary Care Practice
  • Urgent Care
• Candidates without prior Primary Care or Urgent Care experience should NOT be submitted.
• Master's Degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current National Board Certification.
• Active Missouri/state-of-employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
• Working knowledge and understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditions.
• Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptable and flexible.
• Proficient with information management and technology.
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensures.
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required.

🗓️ Schedule & Weekend Requirements

Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35–40 hours/week.

Unless otherwise noted, this position requires working three out of every six weekends, with possible holiday rotations.

On-Call: This position may require an on-call rotation. If the candidate participates in an on-call rotation, please note this on the submittal.
