🩺 Position Overview

MinuteClinic is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a collaborative clinical care team in Canton, MI. The provider will deliver evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, health counseling, and care coordination.

✨ Schedule

• 32.5 hours per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• Possible holiday rotations
• Position may require participation in an on-call rotation. If applicable, on-call participation must be noted at submission.
• Onsite as needed

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care.
• Accurately assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patient health conditions.
• Perform routine examinations and appropriate diagnostic testing.
• Provide chronic disease management, health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness services.
• Counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and well-being.
• Manage patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Complete administrative responsibilities, including clinic opening/closing, inventory, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.

📋 Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care.
• Master's Degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current National Board Certification.
• Active Michigan NP license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
• Ability to practice autonomously and work without direct supervision.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Working knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management.
• Proficiency with information management and technology.
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
