🌟 Position Highlights

Join a collaborative MinuteClinic care team as a Family Nurse Practitioner and provide evidence-based primary and family care to patients in the Bloomington community. This role includes comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, health counseling, and care coordination.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions.

• Perform routine examinations and appropriate diagnostic testing.

• Provide chronic disease management, health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness services.

• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care.

• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.

• Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare.

• Manage patient appointments and follow-ups.

• Complete administrative duties, including clinic opening/closing, inventory, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.

📋 Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care.

• Master's Degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program.

• Current National Board Certification.

• Active Indiana NP license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.

• Ability to practice autonomously and work without direct supervision.

• Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

• Working knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management.

• Proficiency with information management and technology.

• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed.

• BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.

• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.

🕐 Schedule & Training

Training:

• 4 weeks

• 40 hours/week

After Training:

• 35 hours/week

• Includes every other weekend

• Possible holiday rotations

• Position may require participation in an on-call rotation. If applicable, the candidate's on-call participation must be noted at submission.
