📋 Position Overview

MinuteClinic is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide evidence-based primary and family care to patients in a collaborative clinical environment.

The provider will work alongside a dedicated clinical care team to deliver high-quality care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, health counseling, and disposition planning.

This is an in-person, patient-facing role with onsite work as needed.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care to patients.
• Perform accurate patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Provide health counseling and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
• Perform routine examinations and appropriate diagnostic testing.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Support chronic condition management, health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness services.
• Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare.
• Handle patient appointments and follow-up.
• Support clinic opening/closing, inventory, insurance verification, and payment collection.
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
• Work autonomously while collaborating with the broader clinical care team.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in:
  • Family Medicine
  • Primary Care
  • Urgent Care
• Current NP license in Georgia and in good standing.
• Master's Degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current National Board Certification.
• Strong knowledge of chronic disease management and quality measurement.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to practice autonomously and work without direct supervision.
• Proficiency with healthcare information technology.
• Adaptability, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure when required.

🚨 Candidates without prior Primary Care or Urgent Care experience should not be submitted.

📌 Documentation Required

• BLS certification — American Red Cross or American Heart Association required

🤝 Clinical Environment

The Nurse Practitioner will report to the Practice Manager and collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team focused on improving outcomes across the patient panel.
